Microblog Monday: My Nina

When I decided to move back to Chicago, I thought I would be able to bring my cat with me and just make it work in a small space. Then I decided it wasn’t going to be have a large cat and a small child in a very small apartment. I tried to find her a new home but nothing came of it and I left her at my dad’s house. He has a cat too and they absolutely don’t get along (aka Nina is evil to Casey) so the house is divided in half with a door that has to be kept shut and two baby gates stacked on top in another doorway. This is far from ideal and I miss my cat. I’m hoping to be able to get a bigger apartment evntually and have my dad drive her down. She doesn’t get enough attention, isn’t brushed much if at all, and needs some major knots removed, which I got a couple worked out. I made sure to take some pictures with her.

She missed me too.

Weirdly, I was just wondering about your Nina the other day and whether or not you found her a home. I hope she gets to come live with you and Wallace some time in the near future.

  2. 1) get better job that payd decent 2) upgrade apartments in my building 3) bring Nina home. That’s the order of good vibes we need!

  3. She’s beautiful. You guys are in my thoughts.
